SINDA offers the Home-Based Learning Programme for Indian students who have been referred by social service agencies as they lack access to regular tuition support. This option is provided when attending our mainstream programmes such as the STEP Programme or Teach Programme, is not feasible due to their familial or financial situation. The programme ensures students stay supported academically despite their challenging circumstances.
The programme supports Primary and Secondary level students in the following subjects:
- English
- Mathematics
- Science
Lessons are conducted in the student’s home, offering a flexible and focused one-to-one learning experience. Trained tutors deliver structured coaching and curriculum-aligned resources to help students strengthen their foundations, close learning gaps, and improve academic performance.
The Home-Based Learning Programme is offered exclusively through referrals from Social Service Agencies such as Family Service Centres (FSCs) and is subject to stringent assessment and approval from SINDA FSC before placement.
Students must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
